There are at least five major reasons:
(1) Because people in Australia need Jesus Christ, just as
much as those in the jungle of Camaroon or Los Angeles.
(2) Because Australia is the only western nation that has
never experienced a nation-wide revival, and we desire to pray
and work together with those who are waiting for the “Aussie-
Awakening.”
(3) Because Australia is geographically neighboring Pacific-
Asian nations, poised as a unique “Western gateway” to the
East.
(4) Because Pacific-Asians from every country are gathered in
Sydney, their children, along with other Australians need to be
made disciples of Christ.
(5) Finally, because mission-minded Australian churches can be
a rich resource for the ongoing work of world evangelism.
